About the Owner

Hi! My name is Shannon, and I am the owner of the little bloom. While I do business valuation by trade, I turn flower farmer and floral designer after hours. I combine my passion, creativity, and love for flowers to bring y'all the little bloom. I love providing whimsical and elegant floral bouquets and arrangements curated uniquely for you.

 

As we all know, life is not always in full bloom. That is where the idea of the little bloom first sprouted. After struggling through a few years of health issues, I found that focusing on something I was passionate about was extremely helpful in my recovery. Working with Cat Run Ranch Flower Farm reignited the creative fire in me that I had lost during all the craziness that daily life can bring. The joy I felt while working with flowers helped me start to feel like myself again, even when I was struggling physically. But as Shannon Mullen says, “even the tiniest of flowers can have the toughest roots.”

 

I am a true believer that everyone should set aside time in their life to enjoy their passions, and I decided to follow my own rule by starting the little bloom flower truck. Willow, our vintage 1961 Ford Econoline flower truck, is meant to put a smile on everyone’s face, spread happiness through her blooms, and make your day a little brighter.  The little bloom is a new beginning for me, representing a happier healthier me doing what I love and sharing my passion with others. Life plants you in strange places and it is up to you to bloom into the person you want to be. Henry Matisse said it best, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
